Summer lovin' had me a blast.

Give yourself a round of applause if you just sang that title.

Well goodness. Im rather upset that summer is coming to a close. I promised myself I wouldn't let it slip away again. But it always does. And here we are again, writing an over rated "Tribute to Summer" blog post.

It has been one for the books. lets hear my list of summer loving in top 5 form. Right then.

5. My birthday. 15 years young, and feeling good. Things I will definitely say about my 15th year so far? The british invasion hit me hard. Oh boy. I seem to find everything british related absolutely fascinating, and I decided I will live there one day. I have learned that I have the ability to stay calm in hectic situations, a very wonderful gift. I spend way too many hours on twitter and insta. Oh well. Thats how I yolo.

4. Baseball Baseball Baseball. Well, and softball. Would you believe me if I told you that the Lookouts made it to the Beaver Championship? I find myself shaking my head in disbelief. That was definitely a highlight of the summer. Did we win? No. But Mojo did! My dad and my little brothers team, Mojo won 2 championships this summer, and as their number one fan, I couldn't be happier.

3. The parties. the friends. the good freaking times. I haven't hung out with Courtney and Lexi Hill this much since the summer of 8th grade. (And granted, we only hung out about 4 times this summer.) I didn't get to see half the friends I normally do, but I am so happy with the summer I had. Tristen's famous pool parties could not have been more prime. Thats always one of the things I'll miss about summer.

2. Cheer camp, Girls camp, Trek. Cheer camp was so much fun. We headed up to park city, and I was initiated into my squad. Do you even want to know what that was like? (I had to crawl on my hands and knees and bark like a baby wolf  outside of our hotel room until it was "good enough." and that was the easy part.) Girls camp was exciting, I scaled a mountain. Talk about bucket list. And like I've said before, trek was also amazing. I love getting away from everything, and those were definitely my favorite parts of summer.

1. June 9th 2012. I will probably start crying if I try and relive this day. So just read about it here

Summer you treat me well. And guess who's growing up and going into high school? Bring it on Timpanogos. (I may or may not had to say the cheer to spell that out.)

  1. Oh Indy, I miss you! You have such an amazing talent for writing! Keep it up, you could make millions some day, and when you do...don't forget about me! Oh and it's too bad your "leader" prank didn't work out as planned! And instead of saying, "Leader pranking", you should have just said, "Meeks Pranking," since I was the only one targeted! ;). Love you lots! Say hi to everyone for me and enjoy school!
