I might have cried.
Just last night I was talking my puppy out for a walk, and I realized there was no snow on our lawn. None. So I started becoming creative and thinking about how I can have fun on christmas without snow. And I thought of Rihannas song, "we found love"
So I changed it to,
"We Found Christmas"
You get the picture... "WE FOUND CHRISTMAS IN A SNOWLESS PLAAAACE"
But I'd gladly trade my brilliant song for some heavy duty snow from the heavens.
Its like I walked downstairs, and the beginning tune of "One Day More" from Les Miserables came on inside my head.
(If you don't know what that tune is, go look it up because it makes my story so much more dramatic)
And Ill add how Ironic that is, that there is "One Day More" until Christmas, and Les Miserables itself. So yeah, I guess my life is a movie.
I walk downstairs and I see the snow, and then I get my ugly crying face on, and run and hug my little brother. "Look brother, It snowed!" and then he stares at me. So I move on to mary.
"Sister! Its snowing!"
"Yes! Its Christmas Eve!'
I always knew she would come through.
Once Just once, I wanted a christmas miracle, hallmark story that I tell my british grand children about. So I figured, this is as good as it's going to get.
(Then we broke into song, "One day More! Another day another destiny!")
All i'm saying, is its Christmas Eve, and I feel the pressure to do every last thing to get into the spirit. So here is some holiday songs from this years cheermeister. (Myself, naturally.)
Have a freaking good christmas eve, my friends.
